Picking clothing That works on Camera

TIPS FOR ALL

Choose clothes that fit well. Not too loose and not too tight. If you don’t love your upper arms wear shirts with a sleeve in your favorite length. Make sure you have pressed your clothes and have shoes to match.

Texture and layering photograph well. Bright colors and fun prints are eye catching and particularly great on neutral backgrounds. Dressy casual, formal or uber casual…these are your pics so choose what is right for you.

COUPLES & FAMILIES

Pick several colors to mix and match with each other. One accent color can mix well with neutrals. Solids or a sprinkle of prints can both be successful if you keep to the same color palette.

Dress like you are going to the same place at the same time, the same level of dressiness.

Make sure everyone is dressed for the same season. Avoid mixing sweaters and sundresses or shorts.
