Birthday Wishes at Home

This family has been wanting to do a Vignettes session since we first introduced them a year ago. We were tickled that we finally got it arranged this Summer. After the kids gave Kim a tour of their special places we got started documenting their family life at home.

One thing that this family loves is music so it was fun to see mom Lindsey watching her band in action. Then we went outside where Kai showed us his skills on the scooter. When his scooter wheel got the better of him we headed to the backyard to watch Calla dance and play, while Mom treated Kai’s boo-boos.

Something special about these two kids is that their birthdays fall very close together. This year they are getting to celebrate at Disneyland instead of their usual combined, big birthday bash. So Mom and Dad Brian brought out some super yummy, chocolately cupcakes and we all sang a round of Happy Birthday.
