There are moments that touch our hearts over and over. With the new video capabilities on our Canon 5D Mark II we are now excited to begin sharing some of the sights and sounds we enjoy in our photo studio.

This little beauty, Stella, had a rough morning but you’d never know it once she entered the studio. Her laughter at Allie’s expressions was infectious. This baby photography session was such a pleasure and we’re sure you’ll see why when you watch this itsy bitsy movie.

To say that little Ben is loved by his mama does not even come close to doing justice. These two have such a sweet intimate bond that was so fun to capture during this photo session.

Isabelle and Joseph both came into the studio when they were just weeks old, and now look at how big they both are! We had a blast in this session, equipped with fancy dresses, super hero capes, bubbles and even a little outdoor time, and I think it’s safe to say that Isabelle and Joseph did too.

In all of our years of including bubbles in photo sessions, there has never been a reaction quite like Owen’s. To say that he was excited about the bubbles is a complete under-exaggeration. Owen was ecstatic, and therefore, so were we.

Oh how we have missed the sun during these past few months! We were thrilled when the weather this past weekend cooperated, and we were able to take this fun-loving family outside! We are looking forward to many more outdoor adventures in the future (as long as it’s not raining, of course).

We’ve known this lovely mama since she came in for a maternity portrait with her daughter Jordan. It’s been such fun watching her family grow with the addition of twins Conner and Owen. The kids couldn’t get enough of their mom when the session started and insisted that she be in the pictures. After awhile they began to explore the many books and toys we keep on hand for photo sessions and happily listened to big sis’ read ‘Goodnight Moon’ to them. Super sweet!

With their new addition in tow, we were so happy to have this family back in the studio! We had so much fun with little Amara, and it was such a joy to meet her baby brother Akil, who is just 1 month old! We look forward to many more fun-filled sessions with them in the future.

These two goofy first graders brought a lot of playful energy into the studio this afternoon. From jumping, to wrestling to a quick game of rock, paper, scissors they kept Kim busy. When it was time for a little quiet time she just slipped mom in for a few photos with her boys. Aren’t they all adorable?

In case you couldn’t tell from this photo, big brother Graham is so in love with his twin baby siblings Griffin and Lucy. Right before this photo was taken, he was telling us how excited he is for the babies to get older so he can really play with them. We are sure they feel exactly the same way!

These buddies shared a photo session, and boy were they good at taking photos. Evan was all smiles, and Sofia was on the move, keeping us on our toes and thoroughly entertained.

Hannah brought in her best pal over to “Kim’s house” for a little surprise photo present for her dad. Not only did she have a few tricks up her sleeve she had a few treats in her hand too which clearly tested Rudy’s composure. We think they are tied for “most wonderful expression”.

Kimberly and Michael came in just before little Harper was born for some sweet pregnancy photos, and now look at what they have! Harper is a happy little 3 month old and she’s totally loving Mom and Dad, and Mom and Dad are totally loving her (I bet the fact that she sleeps until 10am doesn’t hurt).

When Sawyer’s parents brought out this itty bitty paper boy hat, we couldn’t resist also photographing him with todays Oregonian. And although this photo doesn’t show it as much, Sawyer was all smiles for nearly the entire length of the photo session!
