Portland Kids Find Power Through Peace

In May, Kim Campbell happened upon a classroom of young yoga enthusiasts. Street Yoga is a safe-haven for kids who are faced with homelessness or difficult life-changing transitions. The committed teachers help the children find a “true home” in their own bodies, minds and communities by giving them tools to cope in challenging situations through yoga.
Kim takes a perspective on Street Yoga through her camera lens, exploring a point in these children’s lives while powerfully humanizing their experience. Learn more and view the Street Yoga gallery by visiting our blog.
