Unveiling the Outdoor Portrait Garden - A Photographic Family Event
Saturday, July 17th - 2010

After many months of welding, weeding, painting, sanding, stuccoing and smiling, we are enjoying a newly improved outdoor photo studio. We are calling it our outdoor portrait garden and are thrilled to have even more natural light background options for our clients. From a Tuscan inspired stucco wall inset with a rustic old door we built from found wood to a contemporary room with brown acid stained concrete floors and smokey gray textured walls we’ve got many artistic and interesting options for portraits. Francisco welded a couple light modifying structures to allow us to photograph in all kinds of weather. While Kim has sewn silk light-filtering curtains to create amazingly beautiful light on our subjects faces.
We are also tickled pink to have a padded shooting table we can use throughout the garden to photograph our tiniest clients…babies. Portraits will be on display to showcase our latest approach to portrait photography.
Come see for yourself during our Sellwood Summer Passport event on August 7th. The studio will be open to the public from 10 am – 5 pm with lots of family friendly activities to make it worth your while. For more details read about the party here. Plus, you won’t want to miss the big yellow sculpture jumping in our front yard. RSVP on facebook
